"I didn't ask T.O. for his opinion on adding Pacman Jones to the Valley Ranch Circus, but he offered it anyway.
Most of the football-specific Pacman talk has focused on his potential to be a Pro Bowl cornerback, providing a major upgrade to a need position for the Cowboys. But T.O., an offensive-minded dude, is more fired up about Pacman's potential to put points on the board.
"Hopefully with the situation with Roger Goodell, he's going to be reinstated and be a great addition to the team," T.O. said. "He returns punts, and I think our special teams were an area where we were weak last year. He can definitely help us address that."
Pacman averaged an NFL-high 12.9 yards per punt return in 2006, taking three to the house. The Cowboys have one TD on a punt return in the last six seasons.
If Pacman is permitted to suit up, he'll give the Cowboys an electrifying dimension in the return game they haven't had since Deion Sanders' days. And T.O. can't wait to watch.
