Labor strife seems to be in NFL's future

"The NFL and its players association appear to be headed for a long and bitter battle. The owners voted unanimously Tuesday to opt out of their labor agreement with the players’ union in 2011. The games will go on unimpeded during 2008-10, but if a new contract is not in place by 2010, there will be no salary cap in place for that season."
